BISCOTTE - FAMILY RUN SINCE 2007
Two shops, one family.
As a longtime entrepreneur, I never imagined I would find my way back to the world of coffee — an environment I had once set out to conquer across Quebec with vending machines. At the time, I knew nothing about coffee: I bought automatic coffee machines and installed them in businesses, garages, clinics, and other places where there were customers. Back then, all I had to do was convince businesses that I was offering the best coffee, and then make sure to provide them with the best service possible.
Today, more than 30 years have passed. In 2026, I had the opportunity to open a café attached to our Biscotte Yarns knitting shop in Montreal. This café-boutique concept truly comes to life when put into practice, creating a better experience for our customers.
The world of coffee has changed a lot since then. Standards have evolved, and so have people’s expectations. That’s why we carefully selected, in collaboration with Montreal roaster Barista, coffees roasted to meet our standards.
It’s no longer enough to say that our coffee is the best; we now have to put it into practice. With a focus on the circular economy and responsible purchasing, it was essential for us to work with local suppliers who care about our needs and are properly supported on their path to success.
